Jun Kim – Transparent subordinate. However, wrong choice (Gimyusahwa) made a scratch on his character.
1458∼1523. civil servant subordinate in the middle of Joseon Dynasty.
“Without Gimyosahwa, his later evaluation might been different.” Jun Kim was respected by other citizens by taking a good care of them when he was promoted as village head that was corrupted by civil servants in the middle of Joseon Dynasty. As he was transparent and good at writing sentences, he left many of the works. However, as he was appointed as a main character who caused Gimyosahwa, he was blamed much by later generations. If he did not cause Gimyosahwa, he might as well be remembered as a character who is respected even more by later generations. What is Gimyosahwa? It was an event to remove new power such as Gwangjo Cho by Hugu power including Gon Nam and Hyungju hong in 1519. Just like the ruling party and the opposition party in the present era, there were divided parties in Joseon Dynasty depending on political ideology they pursued. At that time, it was when people in a losing were purged by a winning party. Therefore, Gimyosahwa was an event as a political stain in the history of Joseon Dynasty by killing the new power led by Gwangjo Cho.
