Lee Moo – Made the first global map End of Goryo (Unknown year of birth ~ 1409(Taejong year 9) / Politician “Is he the one in Korea who created the first global map?” Lee Moo became the first contributor for the country by helping Daejong Bangwon Lee during the first prince war in 1393 and was promoted as Dansanbuwongun. Afterwards, he served as the second vice-premier and the first vice-premier to help Joseon flourished. Especially, he drew the first global map named ‘Honilgangriyukdaegukdo map’ with Sahyung Kim and Hoi Lee. Honilgangriyukdaegukdo map is evaluated as an outstanding map that there is not much difference from current international map.

Jun Kim – Transparent subordinate. However, wrong choice (Gimyusahwa) made a scratch on his character. 1458∼1523. civil servant subordinate in the middle of Joseon Dynasty. “Without Gimyosahwa, his later evaluation might been different.”  Jun Kim was respected by other citizens by taking a good care of them when he was promoted as village head that was corrupted by civil servants in the middle of Joseon Dynasty. As he was transparent and good at writing sentences, he left many of the works. However, as he was appointed as a main character who caused Gimyosahwa, he was blamed much by later generations. If he did not cause Gimyosahwa, he might as well be remembered as a character who is respected even more by later generations. What is Gimyosahwa? It was an event to remove new power such as Gwangjo Cho by Hugu power including Gon Nam and Hyungju hong in 1519. Just like the ruling party and the opposition party in the present era, there were divided parties in Joseon Dynasty depending on political ideology they pursued. At that time, it was when people in a losing were purged by a winning party. Therefore, Gimyosahwa was an event as a political stain in the history of Joseon Dynasty by killing the new power led by Gwangjo Cho.

Yungil Hwang – Loyal subject showing the right path as a diplomat. Civil servant from 1536 to the middle of Joseon Dynasty “If they carefully listened to the report of Yungil Hwang, the history must have been changed.” As a civil servant, Yungil Hwang was dispatched to Japan meeting Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Then, he was convinced that Japan would attack Joseon with many troops. However, due to his low political position, his opinion was suppressed by others. As predicted by him, there was Japanese invasion. At that time, if Seonju would have carefully listened to the report of Yungil Hwang, how would the history have been changed? Yungil Hwang is a great figure in the history as a diplomat as the role of diplomat has been increasing in global era.

However, without Sungui, there would be no Hansando battle led by the general Sunshin Lee or siege of Hangju led by the general Yul Kwon. He is a great figure giving a precious lesson in current political world in modern era that politicians only show off their contributions while looking down on others’ accomplishment.

Yul Kwon – General and loyal subject leading Joseon with the general Sunshin Lee 1537 ~ 1599 Great commander in the middle of Joseon Dynasty “Get together, then we live. If not, we all die.” General Yul Kwon never gave up when they were surrounded by 30 thousand Japanese troops. Citizens residing in Hangju Fortress also participated in the leadership of the general Yul that actively helped him fight against Japanese armies. Therefore, general Yul Kwon ended up winning the battle against Japanese armies that were ten times bigger than his troops. Without leadership of the general Yul Kwon, it might not be possible. We miss the leadership of the general Yul Kwon in the present when there was no leadership without responsibility every time when national disasters occur. Siege of Hangju: Battle the general Yul Kwon won against Japanese troops during the Japanese invasion. It is one of the three huge wars during Japanese invasion with siege of Jinju and Hasando.
