First step to proceed Goyang Silicon Valley
Proceed Unified Korea Silicon Valley as a part of Goyang project
Goyang-si is suggesting [Unified Korea Silicon Valley, Goyang Project] as a hub city to lead the upcoming fourth industrial revolution. Expected to be proceeded until 2023, this project is scheduled to be developed in each area including Goyang Ilsan Techno Valley, Goyang U+IoT integrated coplex, Daegok railway station sphere development business complex, automobile service complex, and Korean wave theme park. Ilsan Techno Valley for realizing self-leading city based on ICT, broadcasting culture contents valley to be a specialized complex for media industry in western/northern areas in Gyeonggi-do, and Daegok railway station sphere to be a hub of transportation in western/northern areas in Gyeonggi-do are all part of super large project in Korea to grow as an international business in preparation for unification and cooperation between South and north Korea. It is expected for them to create 2 hundred thousand opportunities of employment and new investment worth about 5 trillion KRW.
