Goyang-si holding juvenile dream job festival at KINTEX
– Job for youth! Issue of employment and career trend!
- Goyang-si (major, Sung Choi) has revealed that they proceeded differentiated exhibition compared to other career exhibition in preparation for integrated job exhibition for combined service of seeking for the career path, experiencing job, and having interview by reflecting the demands of juveniles who prepared for the employment at ‘the 8th Juvenile Career Expo’ held on the 29th at KINTEX. They have organized six zones including the zone for field interview, official recruitment by large companies, job mentoring, employment supporter, Goyang-si employment, and sharing/healing so that those who looked for employment opportunity could setup a strategy for employment and design it. In the ‘field interview zone,’ people were able to understand the company ecosystem and have an opportunity to see personnel managers in enterprises of middle-standing, foreign invested companies, and outstanding small and medium companies. In the official recruitment by large companies zone, professional office workers in each field including marketing and sales provided people an opportunity to communicate with them and understand the work. In the employment supporter’s zone, people were able to satisfy curiosity about required documents, NCS, personality, and mock interview and have their weaknesses consulted and guided with various juvenile job opportunities. In ‘Goyang-si future employment opportunity searching zone,’ people were able to seek for future employment opportunities through the connection of career path, search for new jobs, special lecture about employment, and recruitment brief session as well as the experience of fourth industry from Unified Korea Silicon Valley. Lastly, in the ‘sharing/healing zone,’ people were able to experience major events or other supplementary events through an activity for self-discovery.
Especially, ‘Goyang-si future employment opportunity searching zone’ provided predictable job opportunities in connection with large-scale development business that was proceeded by KINTEX in relation with Unified Korea Silicon Valley, introduced New Korean Wave, MICE, broadcasting, and automobile service complex industry as a specialized business in Goyang-si, and proceeded new industry and new career experience service in reputation of ‘Smart City Goyang.’ The department chair at the city employment department, Heungmin Lee, said, “We are analyzing the rapidly changing employment world and demands of employment from juveniles and preparing for the juvenile employment exhibition by reflecting various opinions.” He also added, “We wish for juveniles who prepare for employment to gain confidence about employment and expand their horizon of perspective.”
