Muryangsa Temple is the traditional temple No.1 and it is located inside the Daeseomun. When you go back side of Daeungjeon Hall in Muryangsa Temple, you will see the beautiful scenery of Buksansan Mountain. Back side of Muryangsa Temple is one of the great places where you can see highest peaks of Bukhansan Mountain around Baegundae Peak from Wonhyobong Peak in the left-most side and Nojeokbong Peak on the right side. Daeseomun

This is Daeseomun and it is the front gate of Bukhansanseong Fortress. Among 16 gates in Bukhansanseong Fortress, Daeseomun is located in the lowest place. Daeseomun is also important as a front gate. When Japanese invaders invade or King in Haenggung visit Bukhansansung Fortress, they had to pass this Daeseomun.
