Good idea of juveniles in Seoul, shining the Unified Korea Silicon Valley
Along with the proceedings of ‘Unified Korea Silicon Valley,’ Goyang-si, Goyang Knowledge Information Industry Institute (hereinafter referred to as Institute) successfully held the session for sharing the results of ‘Goyang-si innovative cluster connection plans’ where the graduate students at Seoul National University in the major of environment (hereinafter referred to as Graduate School of Environment in Seoul National University) at KINTEX in Goyang-si on the 22nd.
Graduate school of environment of Seoul National University and the institute have signed on the contract for successful proceedings of Unified Korea Silicon Valley on March, and started the joint research with 90 graduate students in the major of environment at Seoul National University to proceed nine major current issues including new recyclable energy, business foundation by juveniles, and juvenile smart town. Major contents include construction of energy self-leading city by maximizing the use of new recyclable energy including solar energy, proposal of policies for activation of business foundation ecosystem of juveniles, support for venture companies in the use of major facilities in juvenile smart own and social innovative credits, plans for waterfront in the use of Hanryu Creek and Janghang Creek, and medi-cluster that received much attention from participants as various ideas in the perspective of juveniles have been suggested.
‘Unified Korea Silicon Valley’ project led by Goyang-si is to construct Islan Techno Valley, Juvenile smart town, broadcasting culture contents valley, and New Korean wave culture tour belt at the site of 8 million py near Ilsan KINTEX as a super large project to expect the investment of 6.7 trillion KRW and 250 thousand opportunities for employment. City is planning to expand this business to the entire area of Goyang-si making it grow as a hub of international business in preparation for unification and economic cooperation between South and North Korea.
