‘Actively proceed Unified Korea Silicon Valley’

AS the biggest economic group by Koreans living in foreign countries, World-OKTA has held the ‘19th world representative meeting and exportation consultation’ at Goyang KINTEX exhibition hall from April 26th to 29th.

During the period of this event, Goyang-si took an active step for global business by operating the advertisement hall and holding the investment environment brief session for ‘Unified Korea Silicon Valley’ as a new driving force in the future for unified Korea on Korean economics in all over the world.

Especially, Goyang-si has explained the blue print of Goyang-si as well as investment environment on the ‘Unified Korea Silicon Valley’ as a super big project in Korea including the Goyang Insan Techno Valley to lead the fourth industrial revolution in Korea and provided Korean economists an opportunity to make investment as a part of the plan for actively attracting investment and securing investors. ‘Unified Korea Silicon Valley’ is planning to connect businesses in various fields including MICE, broadcasting, video, and cutting edge medial industry at major bases in Goyang up to 2022 intending to lead the fourth industrial revolution. Especially, it is the super big project for the next 100 years of Korea by performing a role of bridge for economic cooperation between South and North Korea by combining geographical characteristics of Goyang-si. Unified Korea Silicon Valley in Goyang-si is a project for creating job opportunities for Korea in the future as an effort to prepare for the foundation for Korean people including the ones in foreign countries to work.
