The largest artificial lake in Korea, Ilsan Lake Park, recreates the natural ecosystem not easily accessible by urban residents and offers a variety of recreational opportunities by utilizing the surrounding landscape and lake.
The 4.7-km bicycle path around the lake and the 9.1-kilometer promenade, including the metasequoia-lined trail, are particularly beloved and cherished by residents.
There is a pavilion called Wolpajeong located on Dalmaji Island, which sits in the middle of the lake.

The International Horticulture Goyang Korea, an international flower exhibition, and Autumn Flower Festival are held annually in the park.
